Slaw Cutter Tombstone Top Diminutive Size with GarlicVery unusual corn slaw cutter board dating to the 1820 ~ 1840 period having a single board base, slot mounted edge as well as mounted side rails. Garlic is included and hangs lazily off to the right. The scribe marks implemented (near the bottom) were used to position the side pieces as this piece was homemade and probably used on a farm. Forged nail construction and a carbon steel cutting blade are indications of an early piece. Nice narrow form
